Theosophy

Theosophy, a school of esoteric thought developed my Helena Blavatsky in the late 1800’s presented a revival of many lost esoteric traditions. Many of Gann’s contemporaries were closely involved with Theosophy, and it influenced the Anthroposophy of Rudolf Steiner, the Arcane School and work of Alice Bailey and the teacher Krishnamurti.

Codes and Ciphers

We have books on symbolic codes and ciphers from various esoteric traditions, including Masonic codes. Gann used codes in "Tunnel Through the Air", and encrypted his personal notes using a code called "Bell, Book and Candle". Gann enthusiasts study Masonic codes to help uncover his secrets.

Cosmogenesis

Cosmogenesis explores the basis of Cosmic origins via intelligent universal creation, rather than materialistic random forces. Consciousness or intelligent energy serves as the true plenum of creation, not random ordering of unintelligent matter. Intelligent Cosmogenesis has dominated all scientific, metaphysical and spiritual ideas from ancient times.

Natural Philosophy

In the 1700-1800’s Natural Philosophers studied a wide range of scientific subjects, while not overly specializing in narrow and limited fields as scientists do today. WD Gann espoused this more holistic system of science, where the different branches were more easily integrated and the grand vision of the scientific system was more interlinked.

Space-time

Space and time can be seen as the primary elements which define the container of existence in which we all function. In the financial markets we could say that Price and Time are the two primary elements which define market movement and structure. Price is Space in the financial market cosmos, and Gann himself even referred to Space in market charts.

What is the Archeometer?

The Archeometer is the instrument used by the Ancients for the formation of the esoteric myths of all religions. It is the canon of ancient Art in its various architectural, musical, poetic, and theogonic manifestations. It is the Heaven that speaks: every star, every constellation becomes a letter or a phrase, or a divine name lighting the ancient traditions of all peoples with a new day. Saint-Yves applied Archeometric keys to a new translation of the Genesis of Moses, in a work that is sadly little known: The Theogony of the Patriarchs. Together with the Vulgate, Fabre d’Olivet’s translation, and other earlier attempts, this new adaptation of the words of Moses in Saint-Yves’s rhythmic prose is of greatest interest to the members of all the Churches of Christianity, pastoral or secular. Over time, Saint-Yves, initiated directly by the Hindu Brahmans, wrote his Mission of India, in which the question of the “Mahatma” is resolved definitively and clearly. His “friends” have reverently reprinted this work, of which all but one example had been destroyed. Thus, here is a subject of study for future critics, or rather, many subjects, and we do not know what posterity will find most striking: the author’s immense erudition, his style as personal as it is brilliant, or the exalted revelations of the initiate and historian.
