Dr. Jerome Baumring’s Gann Harmony Teachings of a Savant who Cracked Gann’s System

Though W D Gann went to extraordinary measures to conceal the details of his sophisticated wisdom, bits and pieces of his real system were subtly and cleverly hidden amongst his extensive writings, or were secretly passed along through private hands over the decades, leaving a trail of clues for future seekers to pursue.

Dr. Jerome Baumring: Iconoclast, Savant, Gann Scholar & Teacher

The first known researcher to have successfully followed the Gann trail to its conclusion was Dr. Jerome Baumring of the Investment Centre, an iconoclastic savant, who after years of grueling research, managed to resynthesize Gann’s complete system, and to extend it into new fields of science unknown to Gann in his time. Dr. Baumring presented this system in a complex course on Gann analysis in the 1980’s, called Gann Harmony: The Law of Vibration, quantifying its application through advanced mathematics and expanding it into new fields like the multi-dimensional molecular market modeling, DNA coding and Chaos Theory.

Veiled Teachings

However, much like his predecessor, Dr. Baumring refused to openly document the mechanics of the system, considering it too valuable to reveal to the general public. He did, however, leave an intricate trail through a labyrinth of resources that a dedicated researcher, willing to do this difficult research himself, could follow to the goal, thereby assuring that the essence of the science would be accessible while remaining carefully protected.

Many have disagreed with this philosophy of concealment as practiced by both Gann and Baumring, when such insights would significantly contribute to the advancement of science and economics in the modern world. We count ourselves amongst those in disagreement with this concealment, fueling our attempts to bring these principles and teachings out of the secrecy in which they have long been held.

In the 60 years since Gann’s passing, Dr. Baumring was the only known person to have actually cracked the more scientific elements of Gann’s system, and to have approach the topics that were said by Gann to be the essence of his Law of Vibration.

The Investment Centre Seminars

It is clear by the contents of Baumring’s course series alone that he developed subjects never even so much as mentioned by other “experts” in the Gann field. Dr. Baumring presented his seminars series back in the late 1980’s through the Investment Centre Bookstore in Los Angeles, CA (see the original course introduction here). Baumring’s seminars were attended by approximately 100 students over the 5 years they were available.

Baumring’s Private Students

He also had a further 20 “private” students who were engaged in a much more rigorous and intensive full-time program, which required the reading of several hundred books, 1000’s of hours of hand charting of historical market charts, and significant private instruction personally with Dr. Baumring.

This was the program for the most serious of all Gann students, those willing to dedicate their full time and resources to a PhD level study of Gann science, spending day and night pursuing this fascinating subject.

Baumring’s Untimely Passing

But Baumring’s career was tragically cut short by his untimely death in 1992, leaving his teachings only partially completed, requiring his students to continue to pursue their research independently based upon the guidelines laid out through his seminar material and associated Lecture Notes that were collected from his closest private students.

These courses remained in print over the next 20 years through the Sacred Science Institute, so were available to provide the proper guidance to those few who desired to explore Gann’s deepest work. They are now published through the Institute of Cosmological Economics and are being cleaned up from the original scans, restored to a fuller version including new private book lists that were only shared with private students, and with new detailed notes from his closest associates.

Baumring’s teaching style was highly complex and extremely demanding, his entire seminar series being the equivalent to a Master’s Degree in science and economics, and his private program equivalent to a PhD level of research, covering hundreds of books and requiring many 1000’s of hours of market research. This left only a handful students with the determination and intelligence to persevere on their own to the conclusion of the work, with its goal of cracking Gann’s original system.

There have been a number of students who have reached this goal on their own, using the Course Manuals and Lecture Notes that are made available on this website as their primary guide into their Gann research, as verified by us here at the Institute. Each of those few have further confirmed and proven the claims of both Gann and Baumring, that there is a definitive order behind the markets, which can be understood and used to forecast and trade with extraordinary results.

In our 30 year experience in this field, we have found no other educational program that goes nearly as far into the true system of science behind Gann’s Law of Vibration. We have heard of no other teacher or program out there that has the capability to lead serious researchers to this difficult goal, and in our evaluation, the only people we have seen reach highest levels of Gann mastery have done so through the Baumring courses.
