Gann Theory
W.D. Gann’s original work is a critical element for any Gann researcher, but many find Gann’s deeper work challenging without help from well-seasoned analysts and traders. We offer valuable secondary works presenting and developing Gann’s ideas: the best teachers in this field are not so much competitors, but fellow contributors to ongoing research.

Gann Metaphysical Reading List
Gann Metaphysical Reading List
In the 1940’s Gann published a Recommended Reading list of about 90 books, each containing an essential part his system, which he sold to his students. n the 1980’s Dr. Baumring compiled about 70 of these titles, and we have collected the remainder, providing the only complete set available. We strongly recommend these works to all Gann students.
Celestial Mechanics
Celestial Mechanics
Celestial Mechanics
Celestial Mechanics deals particularly with the motion of celestial bodies, especially the solar system, but also wider regions of cosmic space. The subject explores the relationships and processes of heavenly bodies, examining cycles of time, motions of celestial bodies, and the influences between cosmic and local forces.

Codes & Ciphers
We have books on symbolic codes and ciphers from various esoteric traditions, including Masonic codes. Gann used codes in "Tunnel Through the Air", and encrypted his personal notes using a code called "Bell, Book and Candle". Gann enthusiasts study Masonic codes to help uncover his secrets.
Fibonacci
Fibonacci
Fibonacci
Leonardo Fibonacci is often cited as the discoverer of the Golden Ratio or Phi, but he was not the first, The Ancients called this the Divine Proportion and used it in their art and architecture. The Golden Ratio is the governing principle of most natural forms, and the Divine Proportion is the most dominant mathematical form in the natural universe.
Precession

Precession
The Precession of the Equinoxes, of vital importance in the ancient world, relates to the passage of our solar system through 12 cycles of 2620 years over a 25000 year period. Ages of change (as in The Age of Aquarius) occur every 1 degree, taking 72 years, with longer cysles such as the Platonic Year, the Yugas, and the ages of Iron, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

The work of Dr. Baumring is the core inspiration upon which this entire website is based. Baumring is the only known modern person to have cracked the code behind WD Gann’s system of trading and market order. Baumring found and elaborated the system of scientific cosmology at the root of Gann’s Law of Vibration. There is no other Gann teaching that gets close to the depth of Baumring’s work.

SSI Book List :   Tarot
The Book of Wisdom & How to Read it
The Tarot, also known as the Book of Wisdom has a long and interesting history. The true origins of the deck of cards reaches back into a vague history that is not easy to trace, though it made its first documented appearance in the 1500’s during the Italian Renaissance. Legend says that the cards were initially developed in Ancient Egypt, and that there exists an underground temple where the images of the cards can be seen carved on the walls.

The story goes that as the world was falling into an age of greater darkness and chaos, the Initiates felt it was important that the sacred knowledge of the ancients be preserved and passed down through generations in a simple manner that would guarantee its survival. This sacred knowledge comprised what was called The Book of Wisdom, the grand summation of all wisdom of the Ancients. The wisdom of this book was broken into segments, and symbolically encoded into the cards to be passed down through generations, supposedly by the “gypsies”.

Notice the similarity between the word “gypsy” and Egypt, from which it has been inferred that the origin of the wandering gypsies themselves was Egypt! The gypsies then migrated across the world, carrying with them their deck of cards, used both for playing games, and for reading fortunes, thereby, unknowingly, spreading the Book of Wisdom throughout humanity, without anyone being aware of the true wisdom encoded within this sacred system of knowledge.

This rating highlights the level of importance each book has to this specific field of study.
Originality – Defines the level of originality of each specific work in its field and in relationship to the overriding subject matter.
Difficulty – Defines the technical difficulty of each book, how much work it will take to digest. A book may not be the highest Level, but may still contain a difficult technical presentation. Similarly, a book may be very advanced but quite easy to read.
Level – Describes how advanced a book is, falling into the general categories of introductory, beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert.
Entertainment – Tells how entertaining or fun to read a particular book is. Obviously, this will depend upon the person reading it, but some books, though important, may be undeniably dry and boring, while others are utterly fascinating and totally engaging, such that you can hardly put them down.
Customer – Customer ratings, reviews and comments. This is the only rating at most stores, but the least important for us, since anyone who rates these books poorly often will not understand their purpose or context. Our specialized curation demands that every book listed be important in a particular way. We do not include “bad” books in our catalog.
