Sepharial's Kaleidoscope. A Monthly Column from the British Astrology Journal. Walter Gorn Old, 1111 pages.
This was a centerpiece of the British Journal of Astrology, 6 pages of each 16 page issue. Sepharial wrote the column for 22 years, and it represents the bulk of Sepharial's work including some of his best and most revealing writings.
Day Trading
Approaches to trading begin with choice of a time window.
Day or intraday trading focuses on short term swings, generally not holding positions overnight.
Although Gann, trading before the electroinc age, did not favor short term trading, his techniques do work on this level, since similar patterns exist on every time frame whether very small or very large.
Market Timing
The two fundamental elements of reality are space and time, and of the markets price and time.
Gann always said that Time is the most important variable.
If you know exactly WHEN to place your trades, when the market will turn, top, bottom, react or breakout, you will be able to trade or invest with great precision.
Position Trading
Position trading is an approach recommended by both Gann and Baumring, saying that there were maybe only about 4 good trades per year in any market. Markets would go into congestions of accumulation or distribution for years awaiting a new trend, and meanwhile one trades other markets. Gann taught the same principles on his higher level, saying that MOST money was always made in following a strong trend.
Weather Forecasting
Weather has a strong influence on the potential prices of crops, so Astrological weather forecasting was of great interest to market analysts.
We publish George McCormack's Long Range Astro-weather Forecasting which is considered one of the better classics.
A.J. Pearce also wrote some sections on weather forecasting which are classics.
Astrology
Modern astronomy is a pale derivative of the true "logic of the cosmos", Astrology, the science of all-pervasive relationships between cosmos and man.
Early proponents of "astronomy" were ALL students of the Astrological arts, from Ptolemy, to Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Tyco Brahe, and Newton.
Baumring Metaphysical List
Dr. Baumring compiled long reading lists much more comprehensive than Gann's, covering all areas of the markets, science and metaphysics.
Baumring read 1800 words a minute and had a photographic memory, so he was able to collect a vast set of source works in his 10,000 volume library.
Around 500 are highly relevant to Gann’s work.
W.D. Gann Works

His private courses represent the most important of his writings, going into much greater detail than the public book series. Our 6 Volume set of Gann's Collected Writings includes supplementary rare source materials, and is the most reliable compliation of Gann's unadulterated vital work.
Dr. Jerome Baumring
The work of Dr. Baumring is the core inspiration upon which this entire website is based. Baumring is the only known modern person to have cracked the code behind WD Gann’s system of trading and market order.
Baumring found and elaborated the system of scientific cosmology at the root of Gann’s Law of Vibration.
There is no other Gann teaching that gets close to the depth of Baumring’s work.

Swing Trading
Swing Trading works with short to intermediate term swings, usually with time periods from a few days to weeks, following a general changing trend and trading in each direction.
Most systems consider position reversal, and try to trade short and long as the market changes direction.
Gann taught swing trading first, with its relatively easy methodology.
Foreign Language
There are many important non English Language esoteric and scientific works which we have in our archives but have not, as yet, been translated into English.
Some important books in this section have already been translated by our Translation Society, and we intend to translate others in the future.
Mysticism
Most mystical systems tend to come from Eastern Traditions, dominated by Hindu Vedanta and Buddhism, followed by the Sufi tradition.
Judaism has the mystical tradition of Kaballah, and Christianity has great figures like Meister Eckhart, St. Teresa of Avilla, Hildegard von Bingen and Thomas Merton.
Aether Physics
Since Plato the principle of Aether, a subtle universal plenum filling space and responsible for propagating forces and energies, along with Earth, Air, Fire and Water, has been a core universal element.
Until the late 19th century, scientists, including Einstein, and most cosmological systems, incorporated the principle of Aether as being fundamental.
Baumring Science List
In the 1980’s Dr. Jerome Baumring, created an advanced course on the scientific cosmological system behind Gann’s Law of Vibration, including over 100 important works.
These ranged from core works that Gann himself studied relating to Natural Science and Philosophy, to valuable works in alternative or lesser known scientific traditions.
4th Dimension
Much science from the 1800’s postulated a 4th Dimension, often considered to represent Time, in relationship to 3-Dimensional space.
Gann himself posited the idea of space itself being a 4th dimension in the markets, which requires the Gann theorist to become familiar with complex and often metaphysical theories of extended dimensionality.
Gann Science Reading List
In the 1940’s Gann published a Recommended Reading list of about 90 books, each containing an essential part his system, which he sold to his students.
n the 1980’s Dr. Baumring compiled about 70 of these titles, and we have collected the remainder, providing the only complete set available.
We strongly recommend these works to all Gann students.
Mathematics
We have a selected collection of unusual books presenting alternative metaphysical concepts and mathematics, including conceptual approaches useful for financial forecasting or more esoteric cosmological theory.
Both WD Gann and Dr. Baumring used methods of calculating universal ordering processes focused upon methods of prediction.
