Occultism
The term "occultism" is often misunderstood by those who fear the unknown. It simply refers to "hidden knowledge" and the various esoteric traditions, such as Theosophy, Anthroposophy, Magick, Hermetics, Tarot, and Astrology.
In the Alice Baily works channeled by The Tibetan, Djwhal Khul "occultism" encompasses all high esoteric science.
Theosophy
Theosophy, a school of esoteric thought developed my Helena Blavatsky in the late 1800’s presented a revival of many lost esoteric traditions.
Many of Gann’s contemporaries were closely involved with Theosophy, and it influenced the Anthroposophy of Rudolf Steiner, the Arcane School and work of Alice Bailey and the teacher Krishnamurti.
Harmonics and Music
The science of harmonics is one of the most important subjects in the esoteric and scientific traditions, positing that harmonic relationships of vibration govern the structure of the universe.
W.D. Gann called his system of market order the "Law of Vibration", and used principles of harmonics and vibration to predict trends in the financial markets.
Philosophy
In ancient times science and philosophy were interwoven, such as in the ideas of Pythagoras, Plato, Aristotle, the Alchemists.
