Baumring Reading List
Dr. Baumring's reading lists were very comprehensive, covering all areas of the markets, sciences and metaphysical fields.
Baumring was an intensive scholar who read 1800 words a minute and had a photographic memory, thus extendinghis scope.
Baumring's 10,000 volume library included around 500 books which he saw as core information.
Technical Analysis
Technical Analysis involves using technical tools and mathematical measurements in order to determine expected directional movements, reverses or changes in the market.
Advanced forms of this technique use mathematical and scientific or geometric tools to project market action or forecast future movement, looking at elements of price, time and trend.
Alchemy
The name Alchemy has reference to Ancient Egypt, known to Arabs as Kemi (Black Land). Al-Kemi means "of Egypt".
The Great or Royal Art of medieval philosophers predated chemistry but goes beyond material science to more subtle concern with transmutation - of base metals into gold, and of base man into spiritual man. .
Zen
Zen and Chan are similar terms from Japanese and Chinese systems of Buddhism, but they originate from the Indian word Dhyana, loosely translated as "meditation".
Zen is a mind science, giving direct access to the core layers of mind.
The origin of Zen is in India, home of Buddhism. Allan Watt’s called it "Hinduism stripped for export".
Celestial Mechanics
Celestial Mechanics deals particularly with the motion of celestial bodies, especially the solar system, but also wider regions of cosmic space.
The subject explores the relationships and processes of heavenly bodies, examining cycles of time, motions of celestial bodies, and the influences between cosmic and local forces.
Chaos Theory
Non-linear dynamic mathematics, known as Chaos Theory, seeks order in seeming random patterns, exploring subjects like Fractals, System Mechanics, Lorentz Attractors, and more.
Dr. Baumring originated the idea that Chaos theory provided insight into market phenomena, and later the great Mandelbrot tried to apply Chaos theory to the markets.
Codes and Ciphers
We have books on symbolic codes and ciphers from various esoteric traditions, including Masonic codes.
Gann used codes in "Tunnel Through the Air", and encrypted his personal notes using a code called "Bell, Book and Candle".

Baumring found and elaborated the system of scientific cosmology at the root of Gann’s Law of Vibration.
There is no other Gann teaching that gets close to the depth of Baumring’s work.

Gann gave much attention to grain markets, and in particular Wheat, Corn and Soybeans. Gann had a Wheat chart back to 65 BC, which Baumring took back to 1200 BC.
